The Product Owner is the representative of users and stakeholders, whose mission is to maximize the value of the product by managing and prioritizing the backlog.

The Salesforce Product Owner represents the voice of the customer and the business within the development team. His role is to maximize the value of the Salesforce product (the CRM instance) for end-users and for the company.

It’s a strategic role that dictates the “what” to be built or configured.
